It was Flag Day yesterday, and President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner offered an impassioned speech to her followers from the city of Rosario, birthplace of the national ensign.
And it was one of her bad days this Saturday, since she sounded combative and spoke with a broken voice.
By now we know she will not be running for anything this year (many were wondering whether she would be running for Congress). And while it looks like after December 10 she will be becoming a private citizen once more, she warned, however, that she wasn’t going away. And who knows, she might try a comeback in 2019, since the Constitution allows her to run again.
“From wherever I am, I’ll always be by your side, always, especially in the hardest moments”. You can go ahead and try and figure out what she meant by that.
