What: We’re doing an After Office event with a great view of the city!
When: Thursday, May 23 at 7:30 PM
Where: The American Club of Buenos Aires. Viamonte 1133, Floor 10
How much: AR $400. You get a welcome drink and two glasses of wine
We know… It’s been a while since we’ve had a chance to enjoy each other’s presence in person. This digital relationship works most of the time, but we share this yearning to meet up once again, just a regular person and an English-speaking Argentine news outlet sharing some drinks and just chit chatting the night away.
So before things become stale between us, we’ve decided to throw an After Office next Thursday to get reacquainted and we’ve chosen one of the most gorgeous terraces you’ve probably never even heard of in Buenos Aires. The American Club will be playing host to this shindig and the first three drinks will be on us! Because that’s The Bubble way (Note: there is no such thing as The Bubble way, but we are in a giving mood so please indulge).
So how’s this going down exactly? Well, I’m glad you asked.
The celebration will be taking place on May 23rd, beginning at 7:30 PM sharp. The price will be AR $400 and, as promised, will include one free welcome drink plus two glasses of wine, enough to get even the quietest person to talk and mingle.
And if you want to try something else, there will be food and cocktails sold separately.
DJ Kaprice will be in charge of music duties; RSVPs must be sent to [email protected]. Now I know what you’re thinking:
Well yes, there is. This is not a picnic in los bosques de Palermo or a pizza party at your friend Martin’s house or something.
We get to dress up a bit for this one, to the tune of a smart casual dress code. If you don’t know what smart casual means then please Google it and then see what you can find in your closet that comes close to that, OK? Great.
The American Club is located on the 10th floor of Viamonte 1133, that’s literally across the street from the Teatro Colón and all its glory.
So come join us next Thursday for a drink. God knows it’s been a long time coming and we all could use one.
