Wine enthusiasts, rejoice! The first ever Argentina-based Uruguayan Wine Fair is taking place this Thursday, December 1st, at the Brick Hotel Buenos Aires in Recoleta. Over 15 wineries will be offering samples of more than 100 labels alongside Uruguayan gourmet goodies, like caviar, cheese, olive oil and olives.

Uruguay’s claim to oenological fame, Tannat, will be joined by other red wine varieties and delicate whites, like Albariño in a wine fest sure to expand even the most discerning of palates.

After a pre-opening for press and trade only, the main tasting event kicks off at 7 PM. The principal winemakers will offer different master classes, aimed at wine professionals and enthusiasts, to review the best in the Uruguayan wine scene.

The participating wineries are Artesana, Bouza, Campo Tinto, De Lucca, Juanicó – Familia Deicas, Familia Traversa, Finca Buena Vista, Garzón, Giménez Méndez, H. Stagnari, Marichal, Narbona, Piccolo Banfi, Pizzorno, Rodríguez Bidegain and Sierra Oriental.
