In an unsurprising twist of worker unease and roadblocks in your everyday life, the Subte B Line is not running due to yet another employee strike. Workers are protesting what they call a failure to adhere to a contract set between them and Metrovía that set worker warranty conditions in 2013. The strike started at 5 AM this morning and will continue

Worker representative Claudio Dellecarbonara stated that, “in fact, [Metrovías has] even done things contrary to the contract,” such as firing several employees unnecessarily.
Metrovías has called the strike “irrational given that there is an open negotiation table with the the Deputy Secretary of City Work, in which Metrovías, SBASE, and the Subte union.”
Don’t ride the B Line? Congratulations, looks like your day is going infinitely better than 400,000 city-goers. Cheers to that.
