This band combines computer programing with guitar and vocals. They’ve presented their music in Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Rosario, Mar del Plata, and La Plata and keep an Argentine rock spirit, which got them to win last year’s Bienal de Arte Joven in the music category. El Zar is now releasing a new album called A Los Amigos. which is more mature, spontaneous and genuine than their first album. You can listen to them live this Wednesday.

Highlife #9 pres. Rahaan
DJ Rahaan is a legend from Chicago who has been dropping disco and funky house beats to retro music heads since the 80’s when he and his friends used to dance at the best house parties. Playing in a living room in Chicago has obviously done Rahaan some good, as he is now a successful DJ and music producer in his own right. He recently released Rahaan Edits Vol. 1 and 2 in 2008/9 on Stillove4music record label as well as putting out some remixes on the KAT record label.
This Saturday he will be giving Buenos Aires a taste of what his beats can do to the dance floor at a party organized by Arcadia Producciones in La Confitería. A perfect way to celebrate the end of winter!
