Lazy Sunday Option: Le Petit Mercado

Le Petit Mercado – a foodie’s heaven and open air delight – will be descending upon Buenos Aires this Sunday if you’re in the mood for a bit of cuisine not involving a meat fest (although there’s still gonna be some succulent beef on offer if you’re not ready to pull yourself away from the parrilla). As the name suggests, this open air market is French inspired so expect croque monsieur (oh la la), crepes and croissants throughout the day, alongside far flung favs from India and Colombia (yes, a random mix but we’re already salivating at the thought).

Not only that, you’ll be able to wash down all that international flavor with a glass or two of organic wine and/or artisan beer, whilst listening to a bit of folklore musical magic – a dream of a Sunday we reckon.

Where? Santiago Del Estero 1435 (basically take any bus or subte that takes you down the bottom half of 9 de Julio Av, in Constitución and you’re set).

When? Starting at 12pm (bring your shades and an empty stomach).

More info on their Facebook page.
