G20: Here is Macri’s Schedule for the Next Three Days

Macri has already begun his jam-packed agenda of bilateral meetings.

As the bilateral meetings and proceedings of G20 commence today, here is a schedule of what’s in store for Mauricio Macri in the following days.

Thursday, November 29

9:00 AM at the Olivos Presidential Residence: Working breakfast with the Prime Minister of Singapore, Lee Hsien Loong. Nicolás Caputo, Macri’s best friend and the Argentine Consul General of Singapore, is also reported to be present at the breakfast.

10:30 AM in Casa Rosada: A meeting with the President of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker, and the head of the European Council, Donald Tusk.

12:00 PM in Casa Rosada: Bilateral meeting between Macri and his French counter-part, Emmanuel Macron. Both heads of state will share a lunch at the “El Descanso” island, located in the delta of the Tigre district.

6:00 PM in Casa Rosada: Bilateral meeting between Macri and the president of the Italian Council of Ministers, Giuseppe Conte. A joint statement is planned around 6:30 PM.

8:00 PM at the Olivos Presidential Residency: Dinner with the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau.


Friday, November 30

7:00 AM in Casa Rosada: Bilateral meeting of President Mauricio Macri with his American counter-part Donald Trump.

9:00 AM in Casa Rosada: Bilateral meeting of President Mauricio Macri with German chancellor Angela Merkel.

10:30 AM in Costa Salguero: President Macri will officially welcome world leaders.

12:00 PM in Costa Salguero: Official photo and President Macri commencement speech.

12:45 PM to 4:45 PM in Costa Salguero: Plenary session of G20 leaders.

6:30 PM to 10:00 PM in the Teatro Colón: Cultural event of leaders and their companions.


Saturday, December 1

8:15 AM in the Olivos Presidential Residency: The President will host a working breakfast with the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi.

9:00 AM at the Olivos Presidential Residency: Macri will meet with the President of the Republic of Korea, Moon Jae-in.

10:00 AM to 2:00 PM in Costa Salguero: Plenary session of G20 leaders.

2:15 PM in Costa Salguero: Press conference held by President Mauricio Macri.

4:00 PM in the Centro Cultural Kirchner: Bilateral meeting between President Mauricio Macri and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and ceremony for the 120th anniversary of diplomatic relations.

5:00 PM at the Casa Rosada: Meeting with IMF executive director Christine Lagarde.

6:30 PM onwards in Government House: Macri will welcome the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin.
