As we all know, the historic runoff debate that will see Cambiemos’ Mauricio Macri and Victory Front’s (FpV) Daniel Sicoli face off before the November 22 ballotage is taking place this Sunday at the University of Buenos Aires’ (UBA) Law School, and the event’s coordinator, Argentina Debate’s Hernán Charosky, announced exactly how the evening will pan out.

The two candidates will have the opportunity to ask one another questions, respond and partake in general debate on the subject of four overarching topics: Economic and Human Development; Education and Early Childhood; Security and Human Rights; and Democratic Strengthening.

“The debate is propelled, pushed forward by the presentations, questions and follow-up questions that the candidates make to one another,” Charosky told Radio Mitre.

Each candidate will take turns to present in two minutes their respective take on each topic. After this, the oppositional speaker will have one minute to play with — they can ask more questions, make a rebuttal or simply respond with a verbal musing on all that has been said. 60 seconds response time then remains for the original presenter and a final two minutes for follow-up questions and replies. Here’s what will go down, specifically:
