Feeling the need to get the most out of the hot and sunny weather forecast expected for the weekend? It looks like the city has your back and is offering a day outdoors with some gourmet offerings to boot. After the successful first edition back in October, with more than 50,000 visitors, the second Food Fest BA is looking like it will be just as popular.
The event takes place this weekend, starting at midday. There will be more than 30 food trucks set in the main track of La Rural, in Palermo. On top of featuring a wide range of culinary experiences, there’ll be performances by clowns (work through the fear), jugglers and mimes adding a circus atmosphere. Other cultural activities include street artists, like Sebastián Zoppi, a drummer known for the music he creates using paint cans on Florida street. Diego Staropoli, the man behind Mandinga Tattoo, will have his own stand.
The participating food trucks are Azulado, B y C Gastronomía, Bon Bouquet Creperie, Bs.As. Mares, Chacras Papas, Cocina inquieta, Delirio Cocina Rodante, El Tunel Wine, Epa La Arepa, Guapaletas, Marlon, Moros en la Costa Food Truck, Mundi Food Truck, Petersen, Peugeot Lounge, Pizza Cero, Pommes de Terre, Retro Food Trucks, Rocking Chips, San Bernardino, Sidra 1888, Stick Station, Street Food, Trixie and Urban Crepe.
Cabaña Las Sierras, Cagnoli, Formato Gourmet, Frigorífico Reconquista, La Mamma Rosa, Estancia La Tranquilina, Poptails, and Frigorífico Sersale offer some interesting gourmet proposals as well, alongside Antares, Cerveza Búlgara and La Barraca.
