Brazilian singer-songwriter and musician, Héli is performing in Buenos Aires on Thursday night at 9PM in the light of her latest album’s release — Brasil Deluxe — which features a rather impressive list of collaborations.
According to her website, the Carioca’s talent was picked up by a BBC journalist who described her as the having one of the best new voices of MPB (Brazilian Pop Music), a mix of urban bossa-nova, samba, samba-canção and baião with influences from outside of Brazil.
Héli was born with music running through her veins. At a young age, she sang in her local church’s gospel and at 17, recorded her first album.
Brasil Deluxe was produced by Pablo Lopez Ruiz, Diego Calviño and Sergio Lopez.
