The Bubble is Argentina’s guide to pop culture in English for foreigners and local English speakers alike. Launched in 2013, our website has had one goal: the explain Argentina’s reality and news through the eyes of pop culture.

We understand how hard it can be sometimes to understand what’s happening, so we’re here to help. Politics, economy, social media and television are all an intrinsic part of Argentina’s society and we’re here to keep the finger on the pulse. Our content has been featured on local and international media such as Infobae, Clarín, Vox, Al Jazeera and CNN.

Adrian Bono is the founder and CEO of The Bubble. He is also the founder of The Essential, a premium report on Argentina’s politics and economy.

He was born in Spain.

PEDRO CAMACHO

Pedro Camacho is the lifestyle editor at The Bubble. He has collaborated with VICE, Vogue and Clarín, in addition to working as copywriter for Discovery Networks and MTV Latin America.

Over the years he’s written about porn directors, viral social media darlings, and a guy that built sex machines from his workshop in Ramos Mejía.

He enjoys writing chronicles, interviews, and those top 5 lists that seem to be so popular with the cool kids nowadays.

PAIGE NICHOLS

Originally from Washington, DC, Paige has been living in Buenos Aires since 2007.

After working as a program coordinator with a study abroad company, she covered local news and politics at the Buenos Aires Herald. Paige then spent six years at a multinational communications firm, where she led digital strategy for a range of global clients.

Having worked as a lifestyle contributor in the past, Paige joined The Bubble full-time in February 2018. She coordinates the brand’s social media presence, manages the editorial calendar, and hosts the weekly “Headlines & Events” show every Friday.

She enjoys talking to her plants, hanging out with her dog Pocho, and John Waters films.
