The rap phenomenon, Wiz Khalifa, sets foot in Argentina for the first time ever tomorrow, Wednesday, January 27th to perform at Luna Park. If you don’t have tickets yet, you can find them here. Show starts at 7pm so be there or be square.

Wiz’s video “See You Again” ft. Charlie Puth was the most watched video of 2015 hitting more than 1,300 million views. This song was also included in “Fast and the Furious 7” as a tribute to Paul Walker. The song got a Golden Globe nomination for “Best Original Song” and three Grammy nominations including “Song of the year”, “Best song written for visual media” and “Best duo performance”. 2015 was a solid year for Wiz Khalifa’s musical career, he was in the top three most discussed rappers in the media along with Kanye West and Drake.

He has come a long way since “Black and Yellow” and now has a series of hits under his belt. All filled with eloquent rhymes, weed talk and a legitimately slick production. Despite the buzz, few know that he started writing his own lyrics around the age of nine, and at 12 he had already taken over his father’s studio in Oklahoma and started recording and producing his own records.

Opening act, Militantes Del Climax, kicks off the show so get there early. Missing this impressive local favorite would be a major foul.

Wiz Khalifa is excited to be in Argentina and promises to kick off the new year by delivering a unique rap experience to fans at Luna Park.

Khalifa’s show should be a decidedly awesome take on getting the most out of a hazy summer night.
