You read that right! Norwegian composer, musician, producer, and all-around magic man Erlend Øye is giving his next show a twist. Besides soothing us with his own songs and sharing some new material, this kind soul will relive songs from his (oh so beautiful) past projects Whitest Boy Alive & Kings of Convenience. The date is tomorrow at the Teatro Opera Orbis at 9 PM, and we have Indie Folks to thank for that. Erlend Øye is always in good musical company, and this time around he’ll perform with an international group of musicians that have been touring around South America with him for months.

Mellow vibes and glorious musical arrangements are present in all of his music, past and present, and you can almost tell he’s a good guy without meeting him, based on his lyrics alone. His last album “Legao” (2014) is mixture of Caribbean & reggae mid-tempo tunes that effortlessly seduce you to slow things down.

The venue also promises an interesting evening. Concerts that are held in theaters tend to have a different impact, and the red carpet feel will surely add to the experience. Tomorrow will be the great musical excuse to chill out and lower your mid-week pace. You can find tickets starting up from AR $400 here.

A past and present jewel to lighten up your day!
