It’s a Sunday night and you’re not about to leave the house. Check out a new film by director Tomás Gómez Bustillo, Soy Buenos Aires, which releases this Sunday the 30th at 9:30 PM on the YouTube channel Dustin Luke.

The film takes place in retrospect, told from the perspective of a man who claims to be the human reincarnation of the city of Buenos Aires. After spending much of his childhood in the provinces, he makes his way to Buenos Aires and falls in love with the city. There, he tries to make a name for himself; though at first he begins as a lowly office clerk, fortunately eventually strikes him and he enters upper-class society.

You can watch the teaser below:

Bustillo is an Argentine native currently living in Los Angeles, USA, where he is completing a director’s postgrad at the American Film Institute Conservatory. His films have participated in the Montreal World Film Festival, the Festival Internacional de Cine de Mar del Plata, the Chicago Latino Festival, and more.

The YouTube channel on which the film will be featured is run by a popular video blogger, Dustin Luke, who also produces the film. Luke is a US expat who makes videos about Buenos Aires, and his most-watched video has nearly 3 million views.

Kick back this Sunday and see Soy Buenos Aires — you wouldn’t want to miss it.
