Happy holidays boys and squirrels! We have one last Setlist for the year- and then we’re off to visit families and friends in other places for the holidays. In the meantime, you can check out our special Xmas playlist (yes it’s the same as last year’s, but we spent 10+ years honing that one down, so shhh). See y’all in 2018!

In the sleepy neighborhood on the border of Almagro and Boedo (henceforth known in this column as Bo’magro), clandestine cultural center 1917 opens its doors to all the cool kids in the city, giving up-and-coming bands the chance to play music really loud into a giant mattress propped against the living room wall. It is magical. In the last edition of the year, audience members will get to enjoy live performances by psychedelic sibling rock Esquizofrenicos, off-kilter pop act Los Darwin, rowdy noise band Mis Gatos No Te Quieren, indie rock band De Incendios, and Swedish-born indie pop band Black Guillemot, along with the occasional round of Super Mario.
