An art exhibit is coming to the Museo Benito Quinquela Martín on January 10th, showing off a mix of visual art, literature and music inspired by the Matanza-Riachuelo River. The exhibit is called “El Arte que trajo el río. Artes y letras en la Vuelta de Rocha” and brings work together from various artists from the 20th Century, including Quinquela Martín, Fortunato Lacámera, Roberto Capurro and José Rosso. Thanks to the multiple creative types from the Riachuelo area coming together under the direction of Andrea Cuesta Ferrarazzo, the exhibit was able to come to life and put the seemingly innocuous river into an electric new light.
