Good news for commuters, Subte C Line is finally up and running as normal following two months of construction at Constitución station. The repair works on the line which services 200,000 commuters everyday meant significantly reduced service between Retiro and San Juan stations for most of the summer.

The repair work on the line that joins Retiro with Constitución includes a change in the devices that allow trains to pass from one rail to another and the installation of a new signal system, according to news agency Télam.

In other Subte news, today Line A will not stop at Congreso station because of the legislative sessions being held in the area and as part of new security measures rolled out by President Mauricio Macri.
