After the successful-but-botched recapturing of high-security prison fugitives this month, the government has talked about the many measures it will adopt to avoid similar embarrassments and security fuckups. A special task force destined to catch escaped prisoners across the country was recently created and today, Prosecutor General Alejandra Gils Carbó announced that it will be headed by the district attorney of Saavedra, José María Campagnoli.

The task force is allegedly something that Security Minister Patricia Bullrich pushed for, again, probably so she wouldn’t have to appear in front of the cameras to admit that the government had messed up. She had tendered her resignation to President Mauricio Macri after misinformation on the capture of the notorious escapees had been given to the public (that all three had been captured when in fact two were still at large).

Also, we’re pleased to note that Campagnoli looks a bit like Sean Connery.

Which one do I shoot? Connery would lead the best escapee search squad in Argentina. Now that would be badass. Photo via FindingConnery
