Vice President elect Gabriela Michetti was alone for a couple of minutes, but Twitter went insane with this solitary snapshot of her. Photo via Twitter (screenshot)

Before President-elect Mauricio Macri could formally announce his future cabinet to the world yesterday morning, each member, logically, had to arrive at the location of said presentation (the Botanical Gardens, specifically. Nice lighting and foliage, perfect for a photo op.)

The first to arrive was Vice President-elect Gabriela Michetti (yay), but, unfortunately for her, she apparently had such a head start that she was left waiting around on her own while her fellow cabinet members caught up.

That didn’t stop social media from doing what social media does best: taking total advantage of the situation and going on a meme craze.

Here’s the price of arriving early:

    1. Where are the ducks?

2. Remember sad Keanu? Here we have “sad Michetti”:

3. “Michetti in a meeting with Sandro’s children”:

4. Life is like a box of chocolates:

5. The Little Princess. Not Frances Hodgson Burnett’s, though…

6. “When you fart and you think nobody noticed”

Announcing a new cabinet could not have happened without some kind of social media storm. Predictable? Yes. Immature? Very.

The next four years are going to be awesome.
