Once a year, the massive La Exposición de Ganadería, Agricultura e Industria Internacional arrives at La Rural with livestock, vendors, workshops, and general criollo vibe. This year marks its 130th anniversary, and they’re pulling out all of the stops.
Deemed the most traditional and representative event in Argentina, its appeal reaches both lifetime ranchers and tourists alike.
More than 4,500 vendors from all over the country will be in attendance, showing off the latest and greatest advances in the world of agriculture. Come check out aspects of the campo world that are usually closed off to laypeople, like livestock auctions and machine demos.
There will also be shows, food, and kid friendly activities, so the whole family can get involved. The expo opened on July 16th and will be running through the 31st, so you have plenty of time to get in on the action.
As for butter versus margarine, I trust cows more than chemists.
