If you attended Coldplay’s show last night at the Estadio Unico in La Plata, chances are you got goosebumps. Or cried. Or both. In what was the most unexpected moment of the night, the English band suddenly surprised its thousands of fans with a powerful, perfect cover of Soda Stereo’s 1990s classic De Música Ligera.
And yes, Chris Martin sang in Spanish with a pretty good pronunciation, I might add.

The band also mentioned the five Argentine friends that were killed last October 31st in a terrorist attack in New York and presented a new, previously unreleased tango song by them.
Tonight is Coldplay’s second and last show in La Plata, although if you don’t have tickets by now you better get ready to watch it on YouTube like the rest of us mortals.
